Just how does one describe perfection? Our recent trip to the Isle of Wight and week long stay at The Dairy Barn pretty much sums it up for us. The setting is both charming and beautiful and we hope to be able to go back in the not too distant future. The accommodations are first rate, spacious, and lovely…the countryside-serene and full of picture book beauty. As I described the view from the kitchen window to our family back in New York State, “I expect to see Beatrix Potter walk along the lane at any moment”. A truly idyllic experience…..be sure not to miss it! Sally Richards, the facility manager and Ross the cattle/horse farm manager are two of the nicest, most helpful people you could ever wish to meet. Perfect spot to spend a few days in wonderful peace and quiet. Everything you could ever need has been thought of with quality fixtures and furnishings. A welcome pack greets you at the door with Sally and Ross on hand for any help you might need.

Wonderful accommodation in a lovely setting. An excellent base from which to explore the island. The warm welcome and attention to detail make this a place we want to come back to.

Lovely homely barn conversion just off the beaten track in the middle of beautiful countryside on a working farm with the most wonderful long horn cattle in the surrounding fields. The home itself is well equipped, clean & warm and has large well proportioned rooms. Sally the housekeeper is so charming and offered us a warm welcome on arrival. Well worth every one of the 5 stars, highly recommended.
